Staff Accountant
We are currently seeking candidates for a Staff Accountant position. This person will report to the Assistant Controller and/or Director of Finance. The duties of the position include the following types of activities: Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual GAAP and statutory financial reports for various entities, assisting in the compilation of various regulatory reporting requirements, preparing and/or reviewing appropriate ledger entries and reconciliations, assisting in the day-to-day operations and control environment surrounding financial information, research accounting issues to derive proper accounting and reporting solutions, providing external audit assistance.
Premium Accounting Specialist
We have an opening for a full-time life insurance and annuity Premium Accounting Specialist. This position involves working directly with our agents and processing premium payments. A qualified candidate must be able to work both independently and as part of a team, be customer focused, detail oriented and able to work quickly and accurately in a deadline driven environment. Bookkeeping or banking experience is a plus. Job Duties include: Assist customers and agents by phone, correspond with customer by email, fax and mail, organization of print, fax and email paperwork, data entry, scan documents to electronic image system, payment processing.
